Sneak Peek - Senior 2014 Ravyn

I would like to thank Donyale Jones for being attentive to facebook yesterday. She cashed in on a mini session for her daughter Ravyn. I started off having two senior sessions scheduled for today, but when the chance of rain seemed to have went up I had to reschedule them, so one of the guys that second shoots me was looking forward to some practice, as well as I was wanting to get that rust off since I hadn't shot any seniors since the first of the year. Thanks to you Ravyn for you patients and congratulations as you start your senior year at Lee High. Here are a few shots from this rainy afternoon session.

Angela & Rick E Session

One day I was going through my facebook feed when I saw a video posted by a friend.  It basically showed a day of preparation as they went through the process of finding a wedding gown and tuxes for their wedding day.  I really was impressed by the idea to send a save a date invite through video.  I'm thinking "Me and this couple could really do some good stuff", with that type of creativity.  After speaking to Jurian Isabelle the videographer that shot and put together their video it sound like that hadn't picked out their photographer and was in the hunt to find one.  I see you know where this is going and YES I'm so excited about August 31st.  For the engagement we really were trying to put something together that would be really grand, but things didn't line up that way.  What a day we had though.  This couple is sexy without any effort and you can tell the chemistry really made for some hot pictures.  I'm beyond words about my expectation on wedding day, but for now lets enjoy the beauty of Angela and Rick.

Easter Is In The Air

I was glad when I had the opportunity to take my daughter and her two cousins to a Easter egg hunt today.  Before we picked up my niece and nephew we got into a discussion about the true meaning of Easter and I didn't want to miss out on this teach moment for my daughter, but to my surprise she understood it all.  No.. I wasn't doubting she didn't know the meaning, but was ensured she knew Easter eggs was a part of the commercialization of Easter.  Now I must say I remembered as a child that picking out the right Easter basket and making sure you had enough salt and pepper with you to along with the eggs you found after the church Easter program was priority one lol. I find nothing wrong with kids being kids, but lets make sure once all the commercial stuff is said and done that we educate our children about the greatest day in history.  The death, burial and resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ.  Allow yourself to take possession of the most valuable thing in the world and it's free, SALVATION.  I pray that everyone enjoy the good meals that will be cooked.  The Easter egg hunts that will be done and the feeding of your soul through the holy spirit at sunrise service.  God Bless you and keep each of you is my prayer.

Baby Merci

My cousin has started off the new year bringing life in.  Welcome Merci Anjolie Montague to the world.  Me and Peyton went up to the hospital to visit to congratulate Jamie and Teka on the arrival of their new bundle of joy.  She was sleeping well until I open the blinds to get some shots of her and she tried to put up a little fuss, but before leaving Peyton wanted to do what she came for and that was to hold her little cousin.  Seeing Peyton hold her made me want another one.......kinda lol.
